Getting Started

  1. Open the AmigoCDN console.

  2. In the Distributions, choose Create Web Distribution.

    Create Web Distribution.

  3. On the Create Web Distribution page, under Origin Settings, write your domain name or IP address. For Origin Path, Origin ID, Origin SSL Protocols, and Origin Custom Headers, accept the default values.

  4. Under Distribution Settings , accept the default values.

  5. Under Default Cache Behavior Settings enter the applicable values:

    Alternate Domain Names (CNAMEs)
    Specify one or more domain names that you want to use for URLs for your objects instead of the anycast IP that AmigoCDN assigns when you create your distribution.
    SSL Certificate
    Upload your SSL Certificate.
    Compress
    Compression reduces ~70% of file size of text.
    Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS)
    Allows resources when files (e.g. fonts or JavaScript) are loaded from another domain (e.g. a CDN) other than the website.
    Object Caching - Customize
    Origin TTL Minimum TTL = 0 Seconds Minimum TTL > 0 Seconds AmigoCDN TTL
    It has a "Cache-Control: s-maxage", "Cache-Control: max-age" in the head Using the lesser of "Origin TTL" or "maximum TTL" Minimum TTL < Origin TTL < maximum TTL using Origin TTL.
    Origin TTL < minimum TTL using minimum TTL.
    Origin TTL > maximum TTL using maximum TTL.
    none Using the lesser of "default TTL" or "maximum TTL" Minimum TTL < default TTL < maximum TTL using default TTL.
    default TTL < minimum TTL using minimum TTL.
    default TTL > maximum TTL using maximum TTL.

    Create Web Distribution.

  6. Choose Submit.

  7. After AmigoCDN has created your distribution, the value of the Status column for your distribution will change from InProgress to Deployed. If you chose to enable the distribution, it will then be ready to process requests. This typically takes between 5 and 10 minutes.

Most of these reports are based on the data in AmigoCDN access logs, which contain detailed information about every user request that AmigoCDN receives.
